12 Hour Relay disaster
Everybody was putting up big tents, laying out the track with rope so you know where to go. People stretching and warming up for the big day. After the 12 hours 5:30am till 5:30pm everybody planned to go for a nice cooling swim at the beach just down the road. Suddenly everything turned quite, people looking up, mouths gaping wide open as all of the birds fly high away from the school to safe place. The sound of crashing waves broke the silence, people now starting to scream and hold onto their loved ones and friends, trying to keep them safe. People were running for safety and shelter which was hard to find in such little time. Unexpectedly the wave comes crashing over the little houses outside of school, smashing them to pieces like glass, everyone sprinting now as they see that the wave is only a few meters away. Suddenly whoosh the wave goes over everyone, Miss Campbell and Mrs Mills screaming as it is about to hit the,, holding onto trees, but get dragged away under water and struggle to hold their breath while they get dragged into the big ocean, everyone else trying as hard as they could to hold there breath, finally it was over.

Life Education
In 2nd block last Friday, our class room 42 had our first life education session. When we went in the classroom, we got introduced to the teacher Michael, and we talked about the things that we had learnt in the pre session. We watched part of a scary movie about two guys one 13 year old and one 15 year old who smoked illegal drugs and drank a lot of alcohol. We went over some acronyms that are shown at the bottom. Next we talked about peer pressure.

Advice on smoking
Dear Sasha
I found out my two friends smoke. I'm only 13.
I dont know what to do. I am really confused.
Please help.

Dear Anonymous
Well to start off you should tell a trusted adult straight away like a teacher at school or your parents if you are worried about your friends. If your friends offer you a smoke, just say no thanks, even if you loose them as a friend you will be better off loosing them than smoking. The best thing to do is not panic, and keep calm about it. If you are still struggling or the adult that you tell does not believe you, then call 0800 942 8787 (0800 Whats Up) and they will help you or here is the website for Whats Up and you can chat to trusted people on here http://www.whatsup.co.nz/. I hope this situation gets sorted out soon.

Teenager taking drugs artical
The popstar Pink was 15 when she went too far with drugs at a club one night, after being offered a singing career that she was very overwhelmed about. Pink said that before she went to the club she had been also involved with Ecstasy, Crystal Meth and Acid. She said that it wasn't to the point where she had to go to hospital, but it was still pretty bad. When she woke up in the morning her decision was never to do drugs again.
A Kings Collage student James Webster was 16 when he went to a 18th birthday party, with him he took a bottle of Vodka. That night when he went to bed, he never woke up the next morning. His Uncle says they think he died from alcohol poisoning.
